Jonah Peretz-Lange
Jonah Peretz-Lange serves as the manager of curriculum design at Moving Traditions, where he is responsible for maintaining and designing curricula for family, teens, and preteen programs. He is passionate about creating engaging resources based on pedagogical best practices that are situated within our trove of tradition. A former day school, b’nei mitzvah, and summer program educator, Jonah has taught Grades 5-12 in a variety of settings, including at New York’s Abraham Joshua Heschel School and Boston’s Jewish Community Day School. He has tutored rabbinical students in Talmud, Hebrew, and Aramaic, and serves as a Mahloket Matters facilitator for the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. He completed the Pedagogy of Partnership professional development program and was awarded a Hadar Community Group Grant to facilitate a local nigun collective. Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Jonah earned his MA in Jewish education with a certificate in Jewish day school education from Hebrew College. He has also studied at Pardes and Yeshivat Hadar and earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts.
