Rabbi Dr. Martin Schloss, Covenant Awardee, on U.S. Department of Education Panel
Washington, DC, Aug 6, 2010—Rabbi Dr. Martin Schloss, Director of the Division of Day School Education of the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York / SAJES and 1995 Covenant Award recipient, will speak at the Annual Private School Leadership Conference of the U.S. Department of Education, taking place Sept. 22 in Washington, DC.
He will speak on a panel, “Measuring Mission and Data Collection: Are the Two Compatible,” sharing his experience and insights into measuring student engagement and outcomes to assess a school’s success.
His selection to speak is national acknowledgement of the BJENY-SAJES day school division’s work in data driven instruction for general studies.
The conference brings together leaders from major national nonpublic school organizations, as well as state and local public and private school leaders involved with implementing federal education programs.
