HAZON, New York, NY. Tuv Ha Aretz: Hazon's Jewish Food Project. To support a significant expansion of Hazon's food-related work, by using food as a platform to create innovative Jewish educational programs to touch people's lives directly, to strengthen Jewish institutions, and, in the broadest sense, to create healthier, richer, and more sustainable Jewish communities. To strengthen and integrate the Judaic Studies and General Studies curriculum by hiring dedicated staff, in order to support the school's renewal post-Katrina. Newberger Hillel at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Jewish Adulthood Education on the Campus. To pilot a new decentralized approach to Jewish engagement and education on campus that is based on small groups facilitated by artists and scholars.
